DRYER FACILITY

Our drying facility will be utilizing the excess heat generated by the Scheduled Waste-to-Energy Facility which is capable of processing approximately 20,000 tons of waste annually. The main purpose for the Drying Facility is to reduce the moisture content of certain type of waste, predominantly the sludge waste. The Dryer Facility is part of our group initiative of increasing the waste intake for Co-processing which is currently undertaken by our sister company Amita Naza Sdn Bhd (“ANSB”). ANSB is a licensed facility that is able to receive 15 SW Codes to turn Scheduled Wastes into alternative raw material for the use of Co-processing by cement making companies.

The typical Scheduled Wastes sludge that is generated by Malaysian industries has moisture content that can range from as low as below 20% to as high as more than 70%. The ability to reduce moisture content would enable ANSB to produce more Alternative Raw Material (ARM) and Alternative Fuel (AF) for the cement making companies, thus widening the Waste Acceptance Criteria (WAC) of the ARM/AF supply to the cement making companies. The Dryer Facility will also be receiving the SW from ANSB that fails the WAC set by the cement making companies to be further dried to meet the moisture content. The dried SW material will then be sent back again to ANSB to produce ARM/AF.
