LABORATORY MANAGEMENT
JNAM’s laboratory is fully equipped with the latest equipment that enables waste analytical testing to be conducted to obtain timely accurate and reliable results. Laboratory Management is an important part of waste treatment and disposal process which determines accurate prescriptions for treatment and disposal in accordance with the approved Waste Acceptance Criteria prescribed in our license.
Typically, depending on the type of waste material, the waste sample shall be analysed for its total organic carbon (“TOC”), oil and grease (“O&G”), viscosity, pH, toxicity characteristic leaching procedure (“TCLP”) and its leachable metals, chromium, cyanide, mercury, calorific value, sulphur, and halogen contents.
The treatment method of the waste shall then be evaluated and assigned based on the inspection and sampling report, the properties and characteristics of the waste received, as well as the results of analysis of the waste sample collected and analysed from the actual waste consignment received by the team of Laboratory Chemists.
